Although  they hurt.... you insist on wearing them....having them seen.....showing them off, and swearing that it will be a long time before you ever wear them again (while your toes are throbbing, of course) as you lick your finger to rub off the scuff mark before you carefully place them back into their box. Yes, give it about a week (or weekend) and another great outfit, with a few bandages as precaution and you're back into what may quite possibly be your next most awesome pair of shoes.


Ladies, sexy is back at staggering heights. Heels are making a comeback and the choices are in abundance. Vivid colors, animal prints, fur, glitter. More than ever shoes are becoming an extension of our personalities setting the tone for our moods and how we carry ourselves throughout the day.


The heels are getting higher but have no fear, there is a shoe for every one of us. The versatile espadrille has made it possible to ease into a higher heel. If espadrilles are not your style try a lower heel with a platform for more stability.

I've always enjoyed wearing makeup.  As a teenager I first starting using my face as a canvas to hide all the image destroying zits that sparsely covered my forehead and formed in patches on my cheeks. Naturally, at the time of my face painting phase, I was unaware of the scientific improvements being made to treat acne that would eventually appear first in the doctors office as Retin A.
